From Tech To Medicine Man
It's almost like my soul knew. Family Constellations was already in my world — my mother Sophie had been training in it for years — but I didn't yet see myself in it. I had no idea I'd one day be facilitating constellations myself, for individuals and in business. Right out of college I went into logistics with my mother, moving things across borders, working with family. Real-life training I didn't know I was getting: family, the road, and the unseen patterns of how things move.
My tech life ran loud. We built for the restaurant and alcohol industry — the world's top nightclubs, the best bars and restaurants on the planet.
High pace, high stakes, and a whole lot of fun. Cities blurred into each other. Great food, great company, more money than I needed. By every measure, it looked like the dream.And underneath it, another road was forming — quieter, slower, off the map. I was sitting with traditions on four continents. Eventually, the two collapsed into one calling.I went from tech to medicine man, and the road between them is exactly why this work hits different.
I didn't rush out to teach. I sat with these cultures, these tribes, these lands — long enough for them to change me before I asked them for anything.I sat with the Huichol people in Mexico, peyote ceremony after peyote ceremony — enough of them, eventually, to realize the medicine was teaching me the deer spirit. (Svi means deer in Hebrew. My name had been pointing at this all along.) I drank ayahuasca with the Shipibo in the Amazon and completed the rare diet of Noya Rao. Training in the Pachakuti Mesa tradition of Andean cosmology. High-dose psilocybin(very-high)intentional containers around the world.I called Bali the Disney World of healing — kirtans, cacao ceremonies, tea ceremonies, something sacred on every corner. But surface was never enough. I wasn't looking for these modalities; they found me, and I kept saying yes to going deeper. The Amanita initiation. A 10-day water fast. Tantra, breathwork, ecstatic dance.
One after another, the doors kept opening. I kept walking through.I've been in Family Constellations since I was 22 — alongside world-renowned facilitators who were my mother's closest friends, mentors, and leaders in the field. I carry Kabbalistic lineage through my father's bloodline. My mother Sophie is a shamanic practitioner and constellation facilitator — this lineage runs in both directions. None of this lives in a resume. It lives in me.
I'm not a fan of labels. But when I first found Human Design and saw I was a 3/5 Manifesting Generator, something clicked. My design isn't to have it figured out before I show up. It's to live it first, fail hard, fail again, then fail harder — and pass on what the failure taught me.Gene Keys — born from the same lineage, but its own path — gave me the rest of the language: harmony as my life's work, justice as my purpose.I've burned things down and rebuilt them. I've walked into the unknown without a map and come back with one. I've gone to the depths and back. And I'll keep going — deeper each time, never attached to any one thing too tightly, always willing to learn.Harmony is the work. Justice is the why.
One last thing: I love improv. I love to laugh. Because here's the secret no one in the wellness aisle wants to admit — more than any medicine, more than the kirtans, the breathwork, the ceremonies (and trust me, I've tried a lot of them) — humor is the quickest way to regulate the nervous system.The cosmic joke is that life is the joke. Once you can laugh at it, everything softens. Enlightenment, it turns out, has a sense of timing.More joy. More bliss. More harmony. More love.
